Mark is 25 years old and is currently undertaking post graduate studies in engineering at Wits University. He began racing in 2004 and quickly became a regular race winner in all championship categories including Production Cars. He has more than 60 race wins and several lap records to his name and in 2011 alone won 14 races in the SuperHatch class A championship, which he won.

For the 2012 season Mark will be contesting the national Engen Volkswagen Cup with a VW Polo Vivo Cup car, and Superhatch with a Mini Cooper S JCW.
